Ted Cruz Will Endorse Donald Trump For President

TedCruz031415

What will Glenn Beck and Mark Levin do once their purebred Constitutional conservative endorses Donald Trump? That’s right, I said it! It is going to happen. And the emotional turmoil it will cause for some in the so-called conservative movement could result in career ending meltdowns.

If we know one thing for sure about Ted Cruz is that he’s an opportunist. His whole campaign strategy was to ride in Trump’s wake and then make his own waves once the other candidates had been destroyed. And even though Cruz is one of the most unappealing human beings ever created, he managed to garner support from the likes of Lindsey Graham and Jeb Bush.

The second thing we know about Ted Cruz is he is about Ted Cruz. Never in my lifetime have I seen a more puffed up man whose very existence is one long conversation about himself. Trump was wise to stroke Cruz’s ego in his Indiana victory speech. Cruz can no longer demonize Trump as the maniacal Manhattan business mogul. Donald Trump knows how to disarm his opponents.

There will be a modest recovery time that is needed before Cruz gives his “blessing” to Trump’s campaign. If Cruz has a shred of anti-establishment in his DNA he would look like the world’s biggest hypocrite if he allowed Hillary Clinton to become president by rejecting the platform that he vigorously espoused at the end of his campaign.

And finally, Ted Cruz wants a place at the table. It could be that Cruz wants to be Attorney General or Secretary of State. He wants in on the tsunami wave – and he wants to be positioned for his own run for the presidency when Trump’s term ends. There is even a small shot that if the two men can sit at a table across from one another, that Cruz might be offered the VP spot. The only thing getting in the way of that possibility is Cruz himself. He brings in no independents and he polls miserably with women.

In the end Ted Cruz will fold like a cheap suit. He wants in on the new administration. His ability to command authority in the senate has been greatly compromised by the way he conducted his campaign. And there is no better way out than a ride on the Trump train.

Look for an endorsement sometime after the California primary.

  1. Who gives a hoot?! I hope he crawls back under he rock he came from in Canada. We don’t want to see or hear from him again. If TRUMP puts him anywhere near his administration he can cancel my vote in November. I expect a LOT better from TRUMP, and low class, Lyin’ Cubanadian Ted and his ENABLING wife Heidi and the rest of his Lyin’ famly, is not it.

    1. And these are exactly the kind of responses I expected. Again, the blog is here to rattle the consciousness and not necessarily endorse the idea I speak of here. But time will tell if I’m a prophet or a Glenn Beck clown wannabe.

Well, then, you must’ve been born yesterday (quite literally) because the man’s existence you so espouse has always been “one long conversation about himself.” Not that I disagree that Cruz will jump on the Trump train–he’s always admired The Don.

    2. Just to be clear, Cruz is not a Natural or Citizen and committed fraud by running for President when he knew full well he does not fulfill that one basic requirement. That is why he is Lyin’ Ted. We’ve had way too many lies from the DC Cabal, and Lyin’ Ted is one of them.

The only reason Lyin’ Ted made it to the end was he drafted on TRUMP, as an alleged Outsider. What a joke. Just like the Shrub Family and the Clintonites.

  2. TwoLaine – please, calm down. Cruz is NOT Hillary. He’s not responsible for the loss of American lives. And Trump is not a shoe-in. Trump will need all hands on deck in order to overcome the entire Washington Cabal. Both Democrats and Republicans. It’s dirty? Of course it’s dirty. It’s called politics.

  3. It’s ok for Trump to acknowledge Cruz if he endorses Trump, but NOTHING beyond that. Cruz is all about Cruz, he’s a snake in the grass, Trump needs only the MOST trustworthy individuals on his presidential staff.

  4. I never bought that Cruz is constitutional, or he never would run. And it’s clear that the word “conservative” means nothing anymore, just like “natural born”. If conservative means voting to double the H1B replacement workers for millions of high tech American workers then clearly it’s lost it’s meaning. Cruz voted for that, & Fiorina exported 10, 000s of American jobs. Is that conservative.
You are right Cruz is for Cruz, and I hope Trump will want nothing to do with him.

  5. He will be on Trump’s list of Justices.

You can bet on that. He’ll NEVER be his VP pick, but having him as a candidate for a Justice solves many issues. Especially the concern whether Trump will pick a Constitutional Conservative for SCOTUS.

    1. Cruz is not a Constitutional conservative except in the minds of those who refuse to look at the evidence that he is not eligible to be a Senator let alone president. That lie alone negates everything he stands for since. The Marxist left doesn’t just want anchor babies (Rubio) and illegals because they want their vote, they want them as a majority to elect a president with foreign allegiances but it seems they’ve already succeeded without that majority. Cruz, Rubio and Jindal were not eligible to be president. The trial run is over the press and both parties refused to apply Natural born citizen to Obama (still questioning his eligibility) or any of the Republicans who were not eligible.

Cruz has sealed, SEALED records concerning his birth why would anyone want Cruz as anything in government let alone SCOTUS.

  6. My biggest fear is any association with Cruz, is an association with Glenn Beck. He had a huge negative impact on the Cruz campaign. Other than accepting a Cruz endorsement, Trump should stay away from him.

  9. What we need as a President is someone who will represent all of the people. That certainly is not what we have now. Trump meets these standards. What is wrong with you over conservative people.

    1. Who ran the most conservative campaign with the best results for their dollar?

That is the kind of man/woman I want looking out for my tax dollars.

This is very personal to TRUMP. Making America Great Again, for his children and ours. The only thing Lyin’ Ted & the rest of the cabal has ever done is SPEND OUR TAX DOLLARS.

Who has provided expert witness testimony to Congress on the construction cost overruns of the United Nations Building Project? How to fix the problems? How they can save millions of dollars and a lot of headaches? Which, by the way, was ALL going to be financed by a loan that was taken out on the backs of all U.S. taxpayers? WE, a debtor nation, had to borrow money from who knows who, to lend it to the U.N. to finance the project. The whole $1 BILLION PLUS Project. We didn’t have to, but it was just another BAD DEAL our Congress got us into.

  10. He would never pick him for VP because he knows he is not eligible for pres or vp. And he knows he is a lier and untrustworthy. I’m sure Trump is aware that there is speculation on his even being an American citizen due to the issue of weather his mother was a Canadian citizen at the time of his birth. Cruz could end up being thrown out of the senate if this is proven. Trump would want nothing to do with Cruz.

  11. I doubt Trump would ever pick Cruz as VP because he knows he is ineligible and he may not even be an American citizen due to the speculation that his mother may have given up her US citizenship to become a Canadian citizen. I don’t think he would want him to be in his administration at all because of his untrustworthiness.

  12. Trump does not need a loser on his side. They can kiss and make up, but please don’t forget all the bad words between them. Cruz will get another chance, when the time comes. Remember Nixon?

  13. I would enjoy it if Trump considered Carly for VP. . . . with an open mike during her interview. Then –whoops! — accidentally leak it to the media. I think you know why: if she took the bait, it would demonstrate to the world what a sleeze she is and that her jumping at the chance to be Cruz’s VP was just opportunism on parade. And, of course, it would say volumes about Ted that even I don’t want to know!

  16. I seriously doubt a provable illegal immigrant like Ted Cruz will have any place in a Trump administration, and Trump has been very gracious in the past and asked that anyone who does not feel comfortable endorsing him to please not do so. Go home, be comfortable, relax, Ted. Join your wife in her obvious relief. Trump gave you the veiled message he will not prosecute you, by declaring you have a wonderful future. He does not make that same offer to Obama or Hillary.

As for America, I don’t believe we will ever have to suffer a campaign by an ineligible candidate again:

  17. I hope Cruz will support Trump. He needs to tell his supporters to vote for Trump. Hillary needs to be defeated. I do not see Cruz as VP. Trump needs someone from the Federal side, but someone who gets along with the others, and that is not Cruz. A conservative Senator who is a Veteran would be great. Perhaps Trump could nominate Cruz for a Federal Judgeship. He would be good at that, and could lead to SCOTUS, maybe.

  19. Cruz’s endorsement is worthless.

Cruz seeming support is inflated. Much of his support is phantom support – hundreds of bots posting on comment threads, just like the Romneybots in 2012 – who are operatives from either C1A or another domestic or foreign interest group.

    1. PS – I am convinced Cruz’s vote tallies are inaccurate and worthless as his support/endorsement.
Cruz is a cheat, thief and liar.

Go to Politijim.com for the low-down written by a Texan, Christian, former supporter who worked in Cruz’s Senate campaign but has come to see the truth about the fake ‘Christian consistent constitutional conservative’…. many articles with facts, facts, facts….cold hard facts.

The fact that your wonderful dear leader has now hired a Goldman Sachs Partner to run the financials for his campaign – OH NO HE IS A GLOBALIST. He has ditched his tax plan. He is for raising the minimum wage. My personal favorite – he is creeping on his ex-wife. I will write my vote in this coming Tuesday because I cannot in good conscious vote Trump or Hillary. While I agree with the points Trump is running on, I do not, nor will I ever trust anything that comes from his lips. He will say and do anything to win, regardless if half of what he says about his opponents are true or not. This country is in a mess and this election cycle have driven an even deeper wedge in our nation. I want a true conservative as our leader.

  22. Oh, look. Another page which shows exactly why more than 60% of republicans didn’t vote for Trump. The ridicule and name calling persists because you people have no real arguments. You talk about things you obviously are uninformed about, and then proclaim everyone who fails to support a lying New York liberal who somehow managed to get an R after his name as worthless, idiots and losers. Well guess what? You NEEDED us “losers” to win. It’s not going to happen. We won’t vote for Hillary or Sanders, but we sure as hell won’t vote for Trump either. And you can look in the mirror to find out who is to blame. Way to go. You’ve acted just like your buddy Trump. Whiny, petulant, lying and completely uninformed. It’s amazing how a year ago you wouldn’t have paid any attention to the crap coming from liberal media, but now you embrace it like it’s gospel. Something ELSE that egomaniac you support is ignorant of.

You are taking the whole thing personal. your name is not Ted Cruz. But for the next four years you need to sit down and shut up and stay out of anything political because you not voting for the leader of the party now is just like being a Bergdahl. You don;t have the right. bye

    2. The thing is people like you are more concerned with their itty bitty little feelings being hurt than you are in what is best for the country. This land is headed towards Islamic laws and you need to look no further than the mirror to lay blame because not voting against Clinton will be the cause of that .

Rick Perry has spoken and make no mistake, he runs the republican party in Texas. Perry would run against him himself if need be. Cruz would be a horrid Sec’y of State. No one likes him as a person. No. Supreme Court or Legal Counsel to Trump. Think probably Atty General is already sewn up by fat boy.

  24. This is another misinformation piece. Cruz has suspended, not terminated, his campaign. There is still no one with the necessary 1,237 delegates, and there are still several more states that have yet to hold their primaries.

I’m sure this is another out-of-context use of all of the candidates’ early pledge to support whomever the nominee might ultimately be, and is not an expressed or implied concession comment by Mr. Cruz.

I cannot/will not vote for Trump, until and unless Trump could convince me he plans on following, upholding the Constitution. Whether Beck or Levin votes for Trump or not is not my concern. They have to look at themselves in the mirror. Trump has changed his views drastically, when he explains why, then maybe…maybe. But, till then NEVER Trump. I voted in the primary for Cruz, not because I want him as a bff, but because of his belief in the Constitution, and evidence in his life to that end.
